L'ARTISAN PARFUMER IRIS DE GRIS

Galbanum, Iris, Pea Accord, Mint, Blood Orange, Ambroxan

Beneath the iris's elegance, the pea's green freshness vibrates.

Green, woody, and earthy, musky pea. I get some floral notes of Iris, but the dirt smell reminds me of Iris roots rather than the flower. So, Orris? Slightly citrusy and bitter. The bitterness and greenness might also be the Galbanum. I've never smelled that note before, so take that with a grain of salt. Pea and Galabanum stand out the most.

The Ambroxan and the citrus give sparkle and lightness to the perfume, so it doesn't smell completely like a bag of dirt. Reminds me of Figuier EdenVilla NellcĂ´te by 19-69. However, it's not as clean and crisp; Iris de Gris is dirtier. Think of this scent as the rough-and-tumble brother or tomboy sister who likes to play outside.

A green and earthy unisex scent that's perfect for those who like the outdoors. My impression/stereotype of California ranch living. Flowy tiered cotton/linen dress, denim overalls, worn-in flannel shirts. Farm to table, growing what you eat/self-sustaining, having pet chickens. Selling your produce at the farmer's market/trading your produce with your neighbors, making your own soap, and a pretty working or herding dog.
