NEW/NICHE BRANDS WISHLIST AND DEEPDIVE III

These brands are new to me, but perhaps not to you. I'm still learning about different brands and fragrances. 

Notes in this post, for the most part, are separated into top, heart, or base. Each category will be separated by periods; notes within each category will be separated by commas. Sometimes brands list notes without dividing them into top, heart, or base. I might explain my choices or simply place an asterisk following what I find exciting. 

The ongoing trend with these posts is my affinity for citrus, ylang-ylang, tea, peach, chocolate/cacao, and mint/certain herbs. I am intrigued by oud because I rarely try it.

Air EDP by Air Company: the world's first carbon-negative fragrance. "turning Earth's excess CO2 into something beautiful." It's genderless and inspired by the elements. A bottle is $220 for 50 ml. Very little product for the price.

I highly recommend looking at the website. It's an experience akin to an Apple keynote event. The scent profile is dull; no one would single it out in a lineup if it wasn't for its marketing. It's worth trying because of its innovation. What's the sillage and projection like? Is it a well-balanced, enjoyable perfume? If you're a frag-head that wants to be more sustainable is this perfume worth it?

With a luxuriant imagination, this loquacious brand brings stories to life in perfumes, a sensitive and sensual medium. Histoires de Parfums enables fragrances to be read on the skin. • This perfume is inspired by the man that symbolizes seduction. Will I be seduced? Sold by the branding.
2. 1740 Marquis de Sade: Bergamot, Davana Sensualis. Patchouli, Coriander, Cardamom. Cedar, Birch, Labdanum, Leather, Vanilla, Elemi, Immortelle. +Prune
• The marketing and branding teams know what they're doing. FYI, the inspiration for this perfume is the father of Sadism... I am ignoring that this masculine perfume has notes I do not like.
3. 1804 George Sand: Tahitian Gardenia, Corsica Peach, Hawaiian Pineapple. Clove, Nutmeg, Indian Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Rose of Morocco. Sandalwood, Patchouli, Benzoin, Vanilla, White Musk. 
4. 1828 Jules Verne: Grapefruit, Citrus, Tangerine, Eucalyptus. Nutmeg, Pepper. Cedar, Incense, Vetiver, Pine cone.
