GUERLAIN AQUA ALLEGORIA MANDARINE BASILIC
Clementine, Bitter Orange, Orange Blossom, Green Tea, IvyMandarin Orange, Basil, Chamomile, PeonySandalwood, Amber
I got this sample from Sephora. I've been trying this fragrance on/off for a couple of months.
The only citrus I smell is grapefruit. Just grapefruit, nothing else. I don't know where the clementine, orange blossom, tea, basil, peony, sandalwood, or amber are. Either everything is blended together incredibly well, or Guerlain/Fragrantica is lying.
Nonetheless, this is an incredibly refreshing, realistic citrus scent with a little bitterness. Since it's an EDT, the longevity could be better. It's the loudest when you apply it, but it quickly fades away after 2-3 hours. You might catch a tiny whiff of it after that time frame, but it's faint.
The profile screams Spring/Summer, warm, sunny weather, or citrus orchard in Florida. Entirely out of place while writing this post. It's below-freezing in New York.
