My Wishlist | Discovery Sets Pt. 1

I love a good discovery scent, and I wish more companies came out with a discovery set or allowed customers to purchase official samples. It's cost-effective in two ways: you're not blind-buying huge bottles, and the discovery kits are usually cheaper (and bigger) than samples you buy on Luckyscents or Surrender to Chance. Most importantly, it's a spray bottle and not one of the dabber things! Here are some discovery kits that I've been eyeing.

Someone, please hide my wallet!

(Note: Top, Heart, and Base Notes are separated by periods. I put an asterisk on scents I am most looking forward to.)

Byredo La Grande Sélection ($225 😱)

I've always wanted Byredo to release a discovery set. Be careful what you wish for because it's expensive. There are 24 2ml vials... Let's forget about the price and think about something else for a while. The scents included are 1996, Accord Oud, *Bal D'Afrique, *Bibliotheque, Black Saffron, Blanche, *Eleventh Hour, *Flowerhead, *Gypsy Water, **Inflorescence, *La Tulipe, *Lil Fleur, *Mixed Emotions, *Mojave Ghost, Mumbai Noise, Oud Immortel, *Palermo, *Pulp, Rose Noir, *Rose of No Man's Land, Slow Dance, *Sunday Cologne, Super Cedar, and Velvet Haze. Many scents that I want to try out, but I don't have the money.

This discovery set includes EDPs from their The Elements collection. The fragrances included are Heaven, Earth, Water, and Fire. " Each fragrance is inspired by a trigram on the Korean flag, which collectively represents the four elements of the world. The Key ingredients are sourced from distinct regions of Korea." The 50ml bottle is $125 and the 100ml is $195. You can get $30 off the full size if you purchase this set.
